This is an incredibly cute and humble chalet. The porch area is perfect for an early breakfast where you can listen to the birds in the fields sing their morning songs. Although the roads to the chalet are narrow, typical country roads, take your time and enjoy the view of the hilly fields and views. There are plenty of lake and forest walks within a 10 minute drive from the chalet. There is a small town 15 minutes away we’re you can get your essentials for your stay. Fran is a great host

On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .
