Beautifully renovated house in a very peaceful part of the countryside yet just under 3km from Cahir where you can get all you need during your stay. The owners were fantastic and really helpful. House was very warm and cosy with lots of firewood for the stove. Kitchen is very well equipped and house spotless throughout. Lovely gardens and ample parking for cars. Would highly recommend this property for a stay at any time of the year.

Very nice hotel. Had food in the bar on our first night and it was very tasty. I also sampled a 'Sex on the Beach' and it was yummy. Had breakfast both mornings and we both liked that it was self-service. Great variety of food to choose from. The room was lovely.

Cahir House Hotel is just a few steps away from the castle. From our room, we could see the castle lit up at night. Great for dreaming of knights and fair maidens. The beds are comfortable, but we arrived in a heat wave, and the poor little fan couldn't cool down the room. We were very fortunate to arrive at Trad Fest, so sitting in their bar and restaurant, we were entertained with live music. If you are staying at the hotel, have your meals there. The food is exceptional. Just like the food, the service is wonderful. A big thank you to Finnbarr for always checking to ensure my meals were gluten-free and my wine glass was full. I would definitely recommend this as a good location to see Rock of Cashel, swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle, and Jerpoint Abbey and so much more You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay. then return at the end of the day for the wonderful dinner in a pub like atmosphere.

Unit was spacious; well equipped including full kitchen, washer & dryer; very, VERY conveniently located with two grocery stores across the street and the greatest castle just a stone throw away.

This is one of the best B&B where I ever stayed. It has a wonderful location, only a few blocks from the bus stop and the city centre, and the house is nice and cosy. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was simply outstanding. Well done!
