We met the host at the front door. She showed us her home and how to make hot tea when the weather too wet and cold. Everything near by from a restaurants, coffee shops to a church. Love the quiet and warm. A home away from home!

It's a family business; the host lady and her son were extremely friendly! They were very understanding with our late arrival/ check-in and the last minute change in our accommodation dates. The room (including the private bathroom) was very clean with sufficient supplies. The sheets and towels were regularly changed. The included breakfast was simple but did the job, and she tried to offer there something different every other day. It's a strong recommendation for those with a car, as it's located in a tranquil village about a 25 min-drive away from the center of La Spezia. You can park your car in front of the hotel for free. There are also nice options for dinner in the nearby town Aulla, a couple of minutes drive. The host lady was so motherly that she even offered to fix something for the road when we were going to leave early the day of our check-out! :)

    Casa Alessandra is fully equipped, comfortable, centrally located, nice chilled neighborhood. Clean and spotless. Great attention to details. coffee, tea, sugar, water, spices are supplied. Owners are very welcoming and professionals. The bedroom feature high quality bed and mattress. The functional kitchen, well-organized, with a dishwasher and an oven, providing all the necessary appliances. The living area is spacious and nicely furnished. Fully functional bathroom with walk-in shower. Free Car Park.

    Great sheltered parking for motorbikes. Good size room which is more like a bedroom than a hotel room with lovely tiled floors and a very comfortable bed. There were mosquito nets on the window to allow the fresh air in. Lots of towels provided. Good WiFii. Long, leisurely, home cooked dinner with local produce and all served with explanations and details of the ingredients. The house red wine was very tasty too. A very good night's sleep as it was very dark. Breakfast was plentiful and consisted of regional produce.
