Everything! The location; right on the beach. The facilities at the hotel; especially the pool. The room itself; only a budget room but super clean and very comfortable. The breakfast; lots of fresh fruit, cakes, a true Italian breakfast and eating outside under the olive trees. The staff; very friendly and helpful and always smiling.

The Hotel Residence is absolutely beautiful with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea from the apartment, the pool and the dining room. The apartment was bright and comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the restaurants; and Mattinata is just a few minutes drive with plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the tips and recommendations for local sights and restaurants.

It’s an amazing place to stay for a week

Breakfast was varied and fresh. Savory and sweet options were available. Due to weather, we chose to eat in our room, but during warmer, drier weather, we would certainly have enjoyed eating on the patio with which each unit is equipped. The location worked perfectly for us. Bear in mind that you don't get great views like this property offers without a bit of an effort, but directions were clear and the road is excellent. We would definitely stay at this property again, and will likely do so. The room was clean, convenient, and very well set up for independent travellers. We found the location quiet and peaceful, with great views of the Adriatic.

Clean,good staff and beautiful

This property is such an incredible hidden gem. It’s tranquil, clean, comfortable and only a few minutes by car to the coast. Sonia and her partner go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. My husband and I ate dinner here two of our three nights (cooked by Sonia and her partner) - they were generously sized and some of the best meals we’ve had in Italy! We would recommend a stay here to friends and family.

The location is along the coast and away from the noise of town, but nearby so we could walk to restaurants for dinner. Our rental car had a flat tire and had to be taken away. We were struggling to get a taxi to Foggia and the owner/manager stepped in and helped us. He tried to call a taxi, but the wait was too long. He then offered to drive us to Foggia himself (45min) for less than the taxi would have charged us and much earlier than the taxi could get us. We loved the location, but the kindness of the people made this stay special.

Beautiful, immerse in nature, amazing beach nearby

The property was great! Very clean, good space with a queen and a twin bed and a balcony! We were greeted with bruschetta and wine which was a great little welcome to this cute town. About a 30 min walk to the beach but not too bad!

The staff really cares about you and manages to accommodate every reasonable need you have. Perfect combination of location, accommodation and food (there is a fantastic restaurant/bar embedded in the hotel which offers plates based on local products). Gorgeous breakfast! Ideal place for resting and taking a break from your daily routine.

Impeccably clean rooms, just five minutes walk to the sea, but the best part is the very sweet family who run the place.

The place is really well kept and comfortable, the hosts are very nice and helpfull. Very clean and great views. Peaceful! Breakfast was great, too. Could use some proper bread thou, since there is a lot of butter, jams,... Ambrosio is very helpful; uses translate for non-italian speakers with ease :) Overall, very good experience!

Outstanding view of the Adriatic Sea from a perched position, beautiful decor, fantastic breakfast with very attentive staff, comfortable beds and linen. The pool has fun large bean bag loungers, which form to your body to allow you to easily slip into relaxation mode. We had some delicious meals with linen and crystal service. You can use there "sister hotel" beach side loungers making it feel like you have access to two hotels.
