We had a large apartment with all modern facilities provided for 7 days. We were on the 10th floor with a wrap around balcony which gave us 280 degree views of the ocean, Kii Mountains and Shirahama town. The complex is very new so all accessories were in very good order. The bath for a Japanese facility was very large and thus used often. We chose this apartment complex because of it's location to the beach, supermarket and onsens. We especially enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves and everything necessary for that was provided.

Breakfast in the cafe at the first floor was absolutely fantastic. High quality food with a beautiful view in an adorable venue. Three nights, every morning a different breakfast, prepared with care. Ideal to start the day calmly and relaxed. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful, the common room is comfy, all rooms are meticulously clean... really, we liked everything here.

We loved the care and treatment from Yutaka and Giovanni. They really gave us the full package: pick up and drop off from Tanabe/start of kumano kodo trail, lodging, farm tour, excellent multiple course dinner and delightful breakfast. As I told them when we were leaving, we shall be back to taste the "special" menu. Big hug to Yutaka & Gio! G&B
