Love the location - proximity to JR Station and intended attractions within walking distance. Ground floor restaurant serving breakfast is small but absolutely functional - breakfast spread is good. Also used the laundry room which was well maintained and very clean.

The view is excellent! The staff is great! The rest of the whole property is simple and basic which serves the purpose for a couple nights of staying.

The building and rooms were great. The rooftop patio was fantastic when the weather was nice. The house was equipped nicely with towels, cooking utensils, blankets, slippers footwear for the deck etc. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely book it again.

We had a lovely stay at Onomichi Villa (尾道別邸). It’s a beautifully renovated traditional house—full of charm, thoughtfully designed, spacious, and very clean. It was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. The peaceful atmosphere, pretty garden with a citrus tree, and views over the town made it extra special. I was initially concerned by the lower ratings, but our experience was excellent. One thing to note: the property is located on a hill, so be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Onomichi.

As an avid cyclist, I loved the atmosphere in the hotel. The customer service was especially great, even ensuring that my daughter’s allergy were shared with the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were also fantastic. Love this place and the customer service provided by the young lady at the front desk.

Location was great right next to the train station (around 3-5 minute by walk)

Neat location. Close to restaurants, shopping, and cable car. We biked the Shimanami starting from here.

Quite quirky. Amazing views if you’re happy to walk up the hill! Very friendly and useful staff. Comfy rooms.
