The owners are superfriendly and helpful. The ambiance in the house is very relaxed and everything is superclean. Loved the calming music in the living room when I came down. Lots of nice and subtle details like this made this a very nice experience.

Nice Luggage storage room with free bike locks for large suitcases, lockers for backpacks, extra bathrooms and shower. All new construction inside, better beds then my APA room, small personal locker in bed area for wallets, phones. Free earplugs if you need for snoring guests. Discount coupons for local businesses in lobby. Directly across from train and bus station, so easy at The Stay!

A really nice hostel in Wakkanai - it's near the station and the ferry terminal. Everything as described in the offer - I really enjoyed my stay. It doesn't have AC but the temperature was OK - I also had no problem using the shower - it's sometimes busier and sometimes it's vacant. I also ordered dinner and breakfast - it's extra cost but they were worth it. I definitely recommend this place.

It’s a converted suburban house. The room was very clean and modern. The aircon unit was powerful. The shared bathroom, kitchen and toilet were also very clean and modern. The property let me keep my motorcycle in a locked garage. Supermarket and restaurants are short walking distance.

    Good bang for buck compared to other options in the area. The private room I got was comfortable with plenty of natural light. Shower/toilets are clean and no problem with availability. Common areas were cozy. Parking was easy once you figure out where the hotel actually is (it's a little tucked in)

    Awesome location. Literally visible from the JR Wakkanai station. Close to banks, a few restaurants, but best to buy groceries at the Seicomart in the JR station. The parking services even made accommodation to lock my bike up (not necessary but was raining heavily). Hotel provided gowns and shoes, vending machines on most floors, free ice machines, and a good aircon (not really necessary either).

    The location was great, and the hostel is spacious. You can easily walk around the port from the hotel, and there was parking close by. The common area is really interesting. The coffee was good! The staff were very nice!

    - Check in was smooth and staff is very friendly - Nice common area right beside the check in desk - Right in front of JR Wakkanai station! - Seicomart conbini in front of the hostel - Free parking (3 minute walk from the hostel) - Small little storage unit inside of the bed (they provide you the keys)

    Very clean hostel. We had a room with two beds (and nothing else in it), with a shared bathroom. Staff was friendly, good location (parking is a 2 minute walk from the hostel) and the value for money is by far the best you will find in northern Hokkaido.
