Exceptional service by all staff. Lu, the general manager of the hotel, is spectacular. She is super efficient and helpful and always with a smile. Jesus the groundskeeper was a joy to chat with, never a frown on his face. The same can be said for the restaurant / bar staff especially Edwin and Jose. Thanks everyone for a great stay.

The view was 10/10. We were the only guests at the hotel, and it was unforgettable — very quiet, beautiful, clean rooms, a big pool, and a lovely garden. They gave us a room with a pool view, and it had everything we needed. We really liked this place.

Best location, staff, beds, pool and incredible AC! The hotel brand new and fabulous! The architecture and design is gorgeous. It was truly a relaxing oasis. The staff and front desk were extremely helpful and SO friendly. I extended my stay 2x and I will be coming back! I can not say enough about how wonderful of an experience we had. One of the perks is you are 10 steps from my favorite beach in the entire area. Beach Mermijeta ( Mermaid)

One of the most incredible weeks of my life. The hotel is perfect for Mazunte: Luxurious and comfortable casitas; infinity pool overlooking the pacific. As soon as you leave the hotel’s gate you are on a rural cottage path down hill to the main town. The climb home gives exercise and the pool gives perfect relief after a long day at the beach. The meals were extraordinary. Simple local ingredients. The star was Fernando the hotelier. Every request was serviced immediately. Cool, kind, attentive, generous. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Would love for it to be kept a secret but also want them to thrive so I can go back as often as possible. Full stars across the board.

Cocolia is an absolutely gorgeous property and being surrounded by nature created the perfect sanctuary of peace. During our 7 day stay, the staff and management was incredibly attentive, warmly welcomed us for our morning coffee and the chef prepared outstanding daily specials. We just LOVED everything about out visit. Sid (who manages the property) went over and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing stay. We can’t wait to come back!
