Close proximity to park gate. Very scenic pool area that conveniently had a bar with strong internet signal. Cabins had spacious interior with very comfortable bed and great shower and double sink area and ceiling fan. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when I lost my phone and they found it for me. We ate dinner both nights at Sossusvlei buffet (their sister property). I am a vegetarian and it was spectacular but we could have also cooked and eaten on our porch and enjoyed the view. We entered the park as soon as it opened and enjoyed spectacular photos while the sun was still rising and before the crowds arrived. We considered staying at a lodge inside the park gates but are glad we chose Desert Quiver.

Felt like a mini safari as animals roamed freely around the lodge. The cute baby rhino was the highlight of our stay. Dinner was superb and staff were very friendly.

Could unfortunately only stay here for 1 night but the crisp white sheets on the bed and cool aircon will see us back again. The gigantic walk-in-shower with cool water let's you feel like you are standing under a waterfall😜 Outdoor kitchenette and braai area is perfect to watch the sun set while braaing a piece of steak over the Namibian coals.

A campsite worthy of being a destination in an itinerary rather than just a place to spend the night. Its a vast vast vast piece of land, the campsites are far apart, facilities are perfect and very very clean. The vistas are beautiful. Though I didnt see them, the land is home to Giraffes, Wildebeest and more

There was nothing not to like starting from heart-warming reception, and throughout our stay during which we were the only couple in the property, who were kindly assisted by some 20 staff members. This was just our luck to visit the place on weekdays and during lower season, thus we had an absolute privacy. Only us and nature! The chalets, restaurant, viewing terraces, and the pools areas were spotlessly clean, well designed, and professionally served. Great experience!

Really well appointed tented room overlooking the open bush, right next to the gate to the reserve which we wanted. friendly staff. Car park quite a distance away from the room however assistance with luggage transfer was given. Dinner was excellent and given the number of guests well handled.

Clean and in general, comfortable room with A/C - very important for hot summer days. An open view to desert and dunes. The restaurant is a real gem - 11/10, very good, friendly and respectful service, the meals are excellent, good choice of drinks, really unbelievable for such a remote location. Spacious territory with a kind of garden and a swimming pool, big parking lot,....

Location is great to visit Sossusvlei. Dinner was served outside which was great due to the heat. The power supply in the parking area to power overlanding fridges was very welcome.

the lodge is well located for a visit to Sosusvlei. A short half-hour drive takes you to the entrance of Sesriem (Sosusvlei) You can have breakfast there from 6am or bring a breakfast box (then another 60km to parking and then a decent 5km 4X4 - best done by NWR drivers present) Both breakfast and dinner are of good quality and very ample. A very nice bar and wonderful room for dinner. good air conditioning accessible with 2X4 a much better alternative than sosusvlei lodge

the lodge is particularly well located for visiting Sosusvlei. You can have breakfast there from 5 a.m. which allows you to be first at the gate when Sosusvlei opens (after that another 60 km to parking and then a decent 5 km 4X4 - best to have NWR drivers present ° Both breakfast and dinner are of good quality and very wide in range. lunch is rather poor.

Nice to enjoy your own barbecue in each lodge, while watching the animals. Nice pool area and bar. Very friendly staff. Lodge was quite new and very cozy. Every lodge has their own parking place infront.

This is a perfect location for visiting Sossusvlei, just outside the park gates. It was the largest and busiest lodge we stayed at. There are a lot of facilities and opportunities for tours. A good bar, food and beverages available most of the day. Dinner is buffet style. There's plenty of private shaded parking. Our room had wonderful views of the mountain.

Desert Quiver Camp is in a great location, just a few minutes away from the entrance of the park and very secluded, so perfect for star gazing at night (which was truly incredible). The self catering units were nice and clean and parking was right outside of each of them. Breakfast and dinner is not on-site but 5 mins away at another lodge (quite nice variety I would say, especially considering that it is a desert lodge!). I can recommend it!
