United StatesClean, modern and well-designed motel unit set back off the street. It was very comfortable, had good WiFi , and a nice kitchenette. We didn’t see the staff but received an email with instructions on how to access the unit. Murchison is a small town and the motel is central. There is a hotel with a restaurant nearby to get an evening meal.

When arriving the hotel reception was lovely and engaged in conversation regarding our stay and our trip in NZ. The car park is huge, easy to park and get luggage in and out of the car. The room we were given (unit 16) was amazing, massive 2 bedroom unit. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathroom had the biggest shower I have experienced in a hotel with enough draw space. The lodge is spacious and super clean with great off-street parking for our classic car. It provides a tranquil environment yet just off the main road so is easy to find and easy to get into town. There was only one other couple staying and it was excellent to be able to chat to them.
