My husband and I recently stayed at this property. It is a beautiful villa close to the beach with a breathtaking view of the bay and jungle. The feeling was just one of total serenity. The owner Artem was one of the best we have ever experienced. He provided lots of information on what is good in the area and the villa was exceptionally clean and modern. Our stay and this experience completely exceeded our expectations.

The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.

    My partner and I stayed 4 nights and it was spectacular! It was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of details, toaster, oven, microwave, water heater and everything you can imagine. Air conditioning and in each room, parking and a perfect and very clean pool. the well-kept garden. The area is very calm and quiet and 1 minute from the beach. The owner of the house is charming and is constantly aware that you are comfortable and recommends anything you need on the island. we will be back! Thank you
