This has been the best accommodation I’ve ever had in Turkey. The host is the nicest and most generous you’ll ever meet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the Mesopotamian plain below. All this for a very reasonable price. Also, the wifi works!

We totally enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old konak located in the old city of Mardin. Don't miss out on the breakfasts that can be enjoyed at the rooftop overlooking the Mesopotamian hinterland. Thank you to the staff (Idris, Emin, Zahit and Ferhat) and to Tahir who picked us up from the airport and accommodated us in so many ways during 2 day trips with him (one to Gobekli Tepe close to Sanliurfa and the other to Midyat and many interesting places around Mardin).

Fantastic true authentic house… I believe it dates of the 1400 if my memory serves me well… renovated to feel luxurious for the 21st century without losing its charm. Excellent clean washrooms, gorgeous rooms It used to be a school It’s like sleeping in a museum with A/C ! Great breakfast Friendly staff, helped us book a tour and transportation Good restaurant on roof with live band (typical Mardin music, for those who know it’s a great show and for those who don’t know, you will discover the true music of this multicultural/multi religious corner of the world through its music and food)

The staff are great, they were very kind and helpful especially Lukman and Zhuhal, they were very welcoming and supportting. The only tricky part was the way to the hotel was a little tricky, otherwise it was a great experience.

I’m in the food and beverage business so I know good genuine service when I do get it. From the moment we walked in the rec326 we were welcomed with a smile and kindness from sada, she was an amazing host I can go on and on and mind you we only stayed here for one night. The room was immaculate, very clean and well designed. We will be back and definitely share with all my friends and family.

We LOVED our stay at Zerzevan Hotel! What a jewel in the city of Mardin. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the rooms were beautiful and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! We could only stay one night and wish we could stay much longer. If this place is available when you are visiting Mardin, book it! It is small so it is personal, quaint, and so lovely.

The staff is generally helpful, although no English is spoken, communication is done with translator. I ask to change my room the second night and they accommodate my request.     Room was incredible. The view of the Mesopotamian fields is out of this world, both from the room and from the rooftop restaurant. The hotel has parking both in front of the hotel and in the back The one in the back is a bit hard to access however the hotel valet was great to help with parking there Also, parking is safe. The internet was surprisingly good. If you want to visit Mardin its definitely the best choice
