What a beautiful home, the gardens were lovely. It was fun having pie to eat when we got there late! The room was nice and very clean, the bathroom was very nice as well (even more than the room!)

The hotel is located directly at the harbor and is perfect for everyone heading to the islands, taking a vacation in Rockland, or just wanting to stop by. They have a free breakfast offering, a useful fitness center and practical and good rooms with seaside views. The hotel is not newly renovated but is in good shape. The hotel staff was super friendly.

I loved how close the Talbot house was to downtown and the bus station which we used to travel from southern Maine. The heated floors in the bathroom were heavenly.

Affordable...location...clean... comfortable...and the best part...THE WHOLE STAFF was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!We ended up arriving super late and not only were we able to check in ..we had a slight problem with the room code..and we were met quickly and with a welcoming smile with help ALL questions and requests were met with quick responses from housekeeping to the front desk. We were there on Easter with our two young kids for Easter and they were super excited to find Easter baskets outside our door Easter morning along with an Easter egg hunt later on I can honestly say ..I have not experienced top notch customer service from any other hotel/motel ever. We will definitely stay here again and again.

The view was gorgeous, being able to walk out the sliding door down to the ocean and sit was amazing. The room was clean and very cozy to stay in. The staff were very inviting and made the process easy of checking in and out, they also were good about keeping our room refreshed with fresh towels, soap, etc. I think we will have to come stay again!

    The staff was outstanding and cooked up vegan options for us on the spot for continental breakfast. The facility is clean although signs of age appear in various places. Value for money I thought it was overpriced. Advertising indicates water view not telling you that it's over the hotel parking lot a roadway and some other buildings and such on the other side of the road and then you see the water. I find that misleading.

    The room was so big with two queen size bed, big sofa and very big bathroom. Breakfast (included in fee) was good. Good location. Big parking lot. Staffs are so friendly.
