A Magical Escape at Wonderland Staying at Wonderland was an experience we won’t soon forget. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the incredible energy of the space—warm, welcoming, and full of life. There’s a kind of magic in the air that makes you instantly feel at home. The decor is nothing short of enchanting—every corner is thoughtfully designed with quirky, creative touches that make the space feel both cozy and inspiring. You can tell a lot of love and intention went into crafting this environment. One of the highlights was the amazing community. It’s a perfect place to connect with like-minded souls—whether you’re traveling solo or with friends. There was a movie night on Sunday that brought everyone together in the best way. At the same time, Wonderland offers plenty of peaceful spots for relaxation. Whether you’re curling up with a book, meditating in a quiet corner, or just soaking in the vibe, it’s a great place to recharge. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short trip from the city center, it’s easy to explore the beach or dive into local activities. You get the best of both worlds—tranquility and convenience. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Wonderland truly lives up to its name.

Everything about the place was amazing! The hosts and staff were really friendly and made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was prepared in their kitchen every morning and was one of the best we have had. The rooms had all the necessary amenities and a heater which was perfect for winter visits.

The smells, the sounds, the feel of it. Aiden, our butler took care of everything. It felt like family. Not like a first time at all. We started our honeymoon here and literally everyone from Shaishai and Keith to the ones whose names we never found out, made us feel right at home. It was VERY hard to leave. The views were stunning, even if it was a bit of a drive up the mountainside. One of our guests had been very sick and the owners went out of their way to assist us in finding treatment and accommodating a late check out. The accommodations were pristine and beautifully appointed and breakfast at the beach was wonderful! I couldn’t recommend this guest house more!

Villa Lion View is my new favourite in Cape Town! Elijah and his staff were amazing. The views are incredible and the pool area is simply fantastic. I loved the tranquility of the property. It feels like a quiet mountain retreat, but only 20min from the V&A Waterfront. Will definitely be back!
