I pass by this area all the time and this is my first time staying here. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The restaurant is nice and clean.

There was an elevator, which is a big advantage for anyone with heavy luggage. The apartment had everything we needed, and our child was even able to do homework at one of the small desks in the bedroom. The check-in and stay instructions were excellent — very detailed and easy to follow. Since the building entrance is tucked away in a small alley, the step-by-step guide with photos really helped us find our way quickly. There’s also underground parking available. A woman who lives on the same floor and is connected to the apartment’s owner was very helpful — she had a spare key, which saved us when ours turned out to be broken (it only opened the top lock, not the bottom one). Thanks to her, we were able to get into the apartment without any trouble. As an architect, I’d like to add a small but interesting detail — right next to this building there’s another one, an old structure built in 1911, before the First World War, in the Art Nouveau style. You absolutely must see it while it’s still standing and hasn’t been demolished yet. You’ll easily recognize it — the year of construction is written right on its façade.

We stayed one night in Ruse and had a very good experience. The apartment was spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s clear that the host takes great care in maintaining the place, which made our stay all the more comfortable. We did have a bit of trouble finding the address at first, but the host was very responsive and helpful, guiding us without any issue. Overall, a well-kept apartment and a helpful host – definitely recommended!
