Finding a good and affordable place on Statia can be a challenge, but I was very happy to have 'discovered' this gem. The location is just perfect. The appartement is spacious with everything you can expect. The best restaurant on the island is right next to it, actually it part of the same building. It is true that during restaurant hours you will have guests dining next to the place. It was not a disturbance for me at all, and the good part, every morning you have the place for yourself. Your private terrace next to the ocean. The neighbors at Gin House serve a breakfast if you don't want to make it yourself. I loved the Nespresso coffee with cups being replenished every day, same goes for new bottles of waters every day. Great service that makes a difference. The place was clean and comfortable.

The hosts, Herman and Joyce, are lovely people who are responsive and always helpful. They provide full breakfasts that are with fresh ingredients and Euro style. And, their dinners!!! They offer three course dinners some nights by reservation that are exquisite fine dining experiences and are not to be missed!

Staff and management was extremely helpful and friendly. The studio was clean and well kept. It was close to the airport and easy to find. Ill definitely book my stay here next visit.

The lodges are beautiful and the area surrounding it is very peaceful. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very nice! Also, the swimming pool was great :)

Quiet. Flexibility with late checkout really appreciated. Not some gorgeous waterfront location, but the island is small enough that in a couple of minutes (by car) you're wherever you want to be: right in town or out in the middle of nowhere.
