Le Monastère des Augustines, a health and wellness centre, is a former monastery from the 17th century that has been completely restored. This was such a fortunate find for our first trip to Quebec City! The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk from the central shopping/restaurant area, and it had a small parking lot onsite. The hotel was pristine. Walking to our room felt like walking through history.

This hotel is in the walled city of Old Quebec and is within a 6-minute walk of the Fontaine de Tourny. The hotel is attached to a restaurant and theater. The hotel has a great location that makes you wander a bit further from the epicenter. The street is filled with stores and restaurants. Service, although, I've been to friendlier settings, is polite and very efficient, from check-in to check-out and any request throughout. Israel, the Concierge, was very helpful and eager to source what we needed/wanted. The rooms were spacious and lovely.

The room was really clean and spacious with all the utilities necessary (and new). The bed was really comfortable and huge TV screen.

This was the first time in Quebec City and our stay at this location was great. Although not in the heart of Old Quebec, it’s a short Uber ride. The neighborhood is convenient to a few restaurants, cafes, and is across the street from a nice little market where we bought some food for breakfast and snacks. The manager of the apartment was very accommodating and answered our questions. There’s a washer and dryer right outside the apartment that does cost money but the owner did leave enough coins for us to use. They also have laundry detergent underneath the kitchen sink. The rooms are comfortable, but just know that there’s only two bedrooms and the third bed is a roll out that’s not the most comfortable. Also there’s only one shower so if there are multiple people you will need to take turns. All in all, we made the right decision to rent an apartment with a full kitchen rather than stay in a hotel.
