This wonderful guesthouse is placed inside the Lijiang Old Town, so the location is perfectly central and also quiet beacuse the guesthouse stands at the end of a tiny street. To go outside the old town you have to walk about 5-10 min. and there you can catch DiDi (taxi) or a bus. The helpful service is, next to the property location, another strong point of this place. Everything can be done for you there: they will book a bus ticket for you if you don't know how or you simply don't want to due to language barriers; they will help you with your luggage when you arrive (beacuse cars are not allowed in the old town district); they will order a food to you when all nearby restaurants are closed due to late hour. Breakfast was also very good - you can choose local or western option.

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Not far from the hotel is a little night market where you can eat great food. The hotel is family owned and they helped me so much to make my stay great and visit Xishuangbanna. The service and the help were exceptional!
