Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The breakfast is simple but delicious, and the room design is quite appealing as well.

It's a beautifully renovated, historic hotel right in the middle of old Kunming --- right where you want to be to explore the city. The rooms have been very nicely refurbished and the hotel staff were so kind with restaurant recommendations and other tips. For example, I loved the longan, date, and wolfberry tea that they prepare for guests in their rooms and so I asked where I could purchase it. Instead the manager even generously helped me to get the right ingredients to take home so I can make it myself!! Really above and beyond.

Owner (Mr Zhu) is so friendly and so hospitable that we extended another night on the spot! He even arranged pickup and drop off at the train station for us. Room even comes with a washer for your laundry. Great views of the city and surrounding due to it been on a high floor. Remember to have tea with Mr Zhu!!

They really take care of you. And the room is chic and the amenity was great too .
