Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The Moon and Chalice Hotel ia great place to stay. It is in the middle of the old town and it is a charming hotel. An ideal place for a honeymoon, a romantic place for a single and for a couple. There is no breakfast but just 50 meters to the right and to the left you can buy an excellent Yunman Small Coffee bean espresso or latte and a good Chinese breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.

We were picked up from the airport. The staff are full of service mind. I have asked them to have a sugar for making my coffee in the room, the hotel owner was running to find it and gave to us keenly. The hotel owner and son has incredibly gentle and helpful. The other staff also helped me to pay to the taxi when we had problem with the payment App. The last day of our stay was so impressive. The hotel owner drove us to the airport and gave us Chinese traditional teas with a big smile. The location is great, near to the night market along the river and hotpot restaurants around. The beds are so comfy and also the bedding wares are good quality. We felt like home in the hotel. Impressive and warm welcome. I definitely recommend this place.
