Exceptional place and exceptional host. That was one of our best stays in Costa Rica. The place is simply amazing - it is fully sustainable, really ecologic and cozy. Bungalow was really comfortable. The host guided us thorough the farm, explaining how it actually works. That was really interesting and heartwarming.

Secure gated parking. Berna is a great host and her English is excellent, which makes it easier for international tourists. Clean room with lots of storage space. The shower and bathroom are modern looking and clean. Guests can cook in the house, although we didn't do it. Brenda prepares a great breakfast for her guests.

Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Bella Vista Ranch Ecolodge is located in Turrialba and has a garden, terrace and shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. This place is absolutely incredible, with a fantastic location offering stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape, including the Turriba Volcano. Mark and Annabelle were outstanding hosts—warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. They made us feel at home right away. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed spending time sharing stories with Mark, Annabelle, and the other guests. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return!
