He was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - on one occasion he arranged an evening meal reservation for us at Rancho Don Luis (they opened up just to accommodate us and the other couple staying at Amazilia). Our room was an adequate size - the wide bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well (though the water wasn't hot). We made very good use of the lovely pool area. The dining area was great and we enjoyed the breakfasts - the cook was also responsible for cleaning the rooms and the property and she did a great job. Amazilia is ideally located for Parque Nacional Rinco de la Vieja - unfortunately, during our stay, the park was closed due to the excessive rainfall Costa Rica had been having. We ate 3 times at nearby Rancho Los Gavilanes - it has a lovely setting by a river.

They responded anytime day or night. The building was safe with security cameras and secure front gate door with coded entry. The Wifi was better than my Rogers at home in Ontario Canada. Fully functional kitchen made cooking some meals a breeze.
