Coreen Guest House is a very comfortable family-run guesthouse that absolutely feels like home! Maria, the owner of the house is a very friendly person, who is experienced in running the guesthouse and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. She offered us breakfast, although we didn´t even book it, which was really forthcoming! And, she even gave our 4-year old daughter a gift to play with and provided her grandchildren´s dollhouse, which our daughter loved a lot. Her daughter Nieve, who covered for Maria, when she wasn´t there, was really lovely too. They are all used to having people in their lovely house with beautiful garden views. The house is located in a nice and safe neighbourhood, about 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. It is about 5 minutes walk from the town park, where you find quite and green as well as a very nice playground for kids. Our room (2) was very nice and there is a variety of tea and coffee provided in the room! The bathroom is modern and very clean with a really great shower. Beds are comfy. We could store food/drinks that needed cooling in their family fridge. A nice surprise is the house´s dog buddy, who is super cute and friendly to everyone and good with kids.

The apartments were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. Ideally located within walking distance of the city center, yet in a very quiet area. A perfect combination of comfort and location for a relaxing stay!

The Keeraun Hill B&B is a beautiful property near Banagher that was a convenient base for our visit to several nearby historical sites. Our friendly on-site hostess met us upon arrival and showed us our spacious and comfortable room. She then provided information about severa local evening dining options. In the morning, she served a delicious.full Irish breakfast in the guest dining room along with a variety of fresh fruit, toast, and jams. Tea and coffee were also available. We would definitely stay at the Keeraun Hill B&B again.

Sea Dew B&B is located in a mature garden, just a 5-minute stroll from the centre of Tullamore. There is free WiFi access available and the property offers free secure parking. I stayed at Sea Dew B&B in Tullamore during the Trad Festival in April 2025, and I was genuinely impressed. It was spotless from top to bottom. The location was ideal, just a short walk into town, which made getting to and from the festival so convenient. Breakfast was both delicious and great value. Overall, a really welcoming and well-run B&B. I’d absolutely recommend Sea Dew to anyone visiting Tullamore and will definitely be back myself!

The host was amazing. She gave us great meal recommendations that were close by. The bathroom towels were more like sheets! They were fabulous! she also had the softest rug in our room. She has a buffet breakfast with cereals, fruits and yogurt. She also served a hot breakfast starting at 8am. unfortunately we had to get on the road by 7:30 so we didn’t have it. She was sweet enough to make us some tea and toast to go with our cereal and yogurt. The location is great-just far enough out of Birr to be relaxing and close enough to get to town quickly. Highly recommended!
