Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The room was large and well appointed with two beds, table and chairs, seating and en-suite bathroom. The view of the surrounding rural countryside, including Loughcrew, was spectacular. I would certainly stay here again.

It was fantastic and to be recommended for anyone needing a place to stay near Trim, near Navan, or for a country rest.
