We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

The property is less than 1 km from Kyukaruizawa Ginza and a 12-minute walk from Kumoba Pond. This hotel was great value for money and located right in the middle of Karuizawa. The breakfast was lovely and the price very reasonable. Plus you can hire electric or manual push bikes.

Everything needed is provided. Showers and bathrooms are just a short walk away. You can rent a fire pit and but wood there. You can rent an e-bike for $25 pp for the entire day. Still had 70% battery by the end of the day. There is a shuttle, needs to be booked. Does not run late at night. Staff were friendly.
