Very quiet area. They have a private onsen for couples, so my husband and I tried our first onsen. Nice hot water with cold air outside. Very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many dishes. Lots of toiletries and comfortable pajamas

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. They even helped me arrange luggage delivery to my next hotel in Sapporo, which I really appreciated.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. It was close to the train station and close to the old town. The guest house was nice and tidy, with plenty of (indoors) possibility for free time activity (manga library, games and Nintendo) and a nice coffee house. Not to mention the shared kitchen and common room. They were also kind to look after our luggages for the day after we checked out.

It's all the small things that count. Perfect location, just few minutes walk from station.
