Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Our accommodation was stunning! We loved all the rock formations nearby. It's close to Gate 1 I'm Sossusvlei. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, with a good view for sunset. We saw some cute jackals!

This was the best campsite we have ever visited in our life :) The campsites are large - hectares of private land in a very peaceful and safe natural environment. The private bathroom was clean, water was hot. We could cook our meals on the open fire. At the reception we could relax, have a nice beer. The reception itself is also wonderful with a lot of artwork. It is evident from all the beautiful details that this place is a real passion and mission of the owners. The lady was very kind and provided useful information on the places to visit. They have some own hiking trails - all wonderful :) This place was such a wonderful and peaceful experience, fully recommended!

I loved that that the Glamping tents were a bit away from the lodge and you could enjoy the quiet and peace there. The lodge which can also be used for Glamping guests (food, pool, WiFi) and is well equipped. Trips are also offered from the main lodge to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.

First stop on our drive around Namibia, and this has set the bar high. Not many guests staying as low season, but that suited us perfectly. All the staff were lovely, a particular mention to Ferdinand, who was the main point of contact for anything we had questions about and he was not alone in the willingness of the staff to make our stay memorable, 5* service from all. I also had one of the best massages ever, given by Dena, in the Outpost Lodge (part of the same group) a short drive away. The views are amazing and with a small waterhole close to the Lodge it was a pleasure to see frequent visits by Oryx & Wildebeest. Can highly recommend staying here.
