It’s my second time here and I have already booked my next stay.

The place and view is amazing,rooms were clean and comfortable and the hosts were very well coming and warm.

Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Very charming, family-run hotel in the hills of the Douro Valley with not only an extraordinary view on the bending river. But most strikingly - the house has personality which obviously reflects the owner’s passion for place, history and intimacy. Vintage items, personal photos here and there makes you feel like staying at a friends’ place who also has lovely recommendations at hand when you look for places to explore. And if you want to just relax and enjoy the view - the hotel’s pool and the surrounding terraces are just perfect to calm down. Moreover: one of us was sick during our stay - and the hosts were super helpful, understanding and supporting, this was extraordinary. Thank you so much!

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! Thank you Miguel and the family! We definitely will come back next time! We enjoyed it so much! Wen & Stan

Beautiful hotel, very big rooms and very clean. The facilities were great, enjoyed the spa to the fullest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also, breakfast was amazing, even better than what was expected!
