A picturesque location with a gorgeous yard to relax in. Two separate rooms for our family and a kitchen. Serena the host was very friendly and helpful booking restaurants and taxis. She was prompt in responding via text. Quiet and peaceful location away from the crowds

Where do I even begin we arrived by buss there was no taxi or uber running during this time we thought we would have to walk up all the way to the airb&b thankfully we reached out to our great host and he was able to rearrange his schedule for us to pick us up and drop us off, the place itself is wonderful it sits over the lake and the inside is super quaint he had everything you could possibly need from kitchen wear to basic cooking supplies to shower supplies and candles, he invited us over to his terrace where we got to enjoy Italy with the locals and try some of their famous liquor all in all of you are looking for a place in verenna look no further this place makes you feel like you are a location a great spot with some amazing people:)

We had an excellent stay! The place was very comfortable, clean and peaceful and antique beautiful furniture that makes you feel you when back in time. Ale was a wonderful host and stayed in touch with us to make sure he was there to welcome us when we arrived. Having a private bathroom was a big plus. Even though the rooms don’t have air conditioning, they stay surprisingly cool and we slept very comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay!

The views Quiet neighbourhood

Dick was a wonderful host, guiding us through Lake Como as well as recommending a lovely bottle of wine Breakfast was delightful and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Dick also instructed us to take a night bus down to the cozy town of Varenna to enjoy a lovely evening without worry of automobile parking. A free service offered by the city and greatly appreciated. Mahalo Nui Loa Dick, for a wonderful stay, which we will happily return

The view, the rustic authentic Italian feel to it. It’s a time capsule in all the good ways.

Wonderful place, up on the hills by the lake. It is about 30 mins walking down the hill to reach the lake and Varenna, on a beautiful cobble stone path, and a steep way back up, about 1 hour by foot. There is a bus every hour, except on Sundays. There are also several taxis you can hire. Three blocks down the house, there is a restaurant, a cafe and a grocery store. There are several hiking trails in the area, too. The place is very clean, has everything we needed for our stay with our family. The host Giorgio, is very nice and accommodating, he picked us up at the train station and gave us all the necessary tips for our stay. The house has somewhat older decor, but everything is functional and clean. The views from the window are stunning. We had a wonderful stay!

The view was absolutely stunning from that high, but be prepared to take a taxi, learn the bus route, or walk on steep cobblestone paths. The balcony is a perfect place to watch the sun set behind the mountains. The host was super accommodating and easy to reach/communicate with. They also curated a nice list of recommendations and local pro-tips that came in handy. Would stay again.

Unbelievable view, private pool! And Carlo the owner was so helpful in arranging our taxi and booking us a boat tour despite very unlucky weather. I definitely want to go back!

Beautiful location up in the mountains overlooking the lake, excellent hospitality, tons of information about things to do in the area and very welcoming!

Incredible views of lake Como. Our host, Michela, was fantastic! She took care of our every need and it was a joy to spend time with her. She treated us like family.
