We had just completed a very rainy first stage of the Via Francesco and were soaking wet! The room was large, comfortable and the shower was hot! We were able to get take out food and sit in the garden area and enjoy our dinner.

Size was good for our party of 8. Staff was great. They had a problem with the pool and it could not be used which was a major driver of our choice since we had 4 teens. The host gave us a free wine tasting as a courtesy

One of the most amazing places we stayed in Europe. Such a beautiful place, Stefano and his wife were so nice. And the decor and furniture were so charming.
Little Room - Camera indipendente nella Torre
We had a great time staying at that accomodation. We couldn‘t be bothered with driving to Florence center and prefered to have a place to stay outside of the city. This room is very close (5min walk) to the train station and has a secure place to leave your car. The train takes 25min to reach Florence main station. One thing to note: In Florence, the train back to Pontassieve leaves at a train platform which is further back than the others and takes an extra 5 minutes to reach. We almost missed our train the first night because we did not know this. So just plan accordingly and you‘ll be fine :)

Steps to Florence
Absolutely perfect little apartment, local to all the amenities and clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for anything more. Here during the strikes and the hosts helped me to find alternative accommodation for the extra two days I had to stay in Italy too. Will absolutely be returning later in the year.

I already miss the apartment. It felt like home, Sylvia made sure of it ! Everything was great. If you need to rest from loud places, want to have slow mornings with a coffee in a nice backyard, and basically want to experience living in an actual Tuscan castle - go for it, book this apartment and enjoy 🩷 It's really easy to get to Florence center - the train station is in 5 minutes from the apartment, the Coop is in 3 minutes, and there is a place to get a quick coffee, also several clothing stores. So overall - everything you need is around. And Sylvia is so helpful and nice, I'm really glad I met her. Thanks again!🌞

Our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio was wonderful. Everyone was extremely attentive, and the food was amazing, especially the care they took with our gluten and lactose dietary restrictions. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the vineyards and an incredible sunset. I highly recommend it!

The privacy and the cozy feeling being secluded and surrounded by nature. Quiet and very comfortable. Amazingly decorated, leaving the authenticity of the past. Peaceful stay! Nice barbecue setting and a lovely gazebo outdoor. The host was very welcoming and warm.
Absolutely stunning experience - the hospitality and friendliness of host, the dinner, the pool, the views, etc. 100% recommend!
