Such an amazing experience. This was a stay where all our senses enjoyed. The nature around the house is beautiful and the house is in a great spot on top of the hill with views on all sides. We were upgraded to a suite in the main building (from a room in a separate building). The suite was spacious, with authentic traditional furniture and overall look, but very clean and with all amenities. Food was excellent with a lot of selection from local sources. We had breakfast every day with a selection of fresh vegetables, fruit, bread and cold cuts of Italian cheese and sausages. We had one dinner in the restaurant. It was also great with a nice menu and wine from the local vineyard. We also went for the Wednesday event of wine testing and meals served on pizza accompanied with live music on the beautiful terrace near the main building. It was a great move and very enjoyable evening and we highly recommend it.

Amazing view, clean, peaceful and quiet. We like every corner of the house. The little coffee shop is unique.

Excellent View over the Tuscan hills and olive trees orchards. The night sky is really beautiful and there is a nice deck where you can sit and look at the stars. Swimming pool is large and clean.

The location is spectacular. The staff is OUTSTANDING. The rooms are gorgeous. And the whole experience was beyond our hopes and expectations. I will recommend to all of my friends, family and colleagues that they find their way to Villa D' Arte in Pontessieve. AMAZING!!!

Amazing views, clean big apartment, comfortable beds. All the kitchen and barbecue facilities you might need. What's not to like?!

Size was good for our party of 8. Staff was great. They had a problem with the pool and it could not be used which was a major driver of our choice since we had 4 teens. The host gave us a free wine tasting as a courtesy

Location location location.. Literally a 5 minute walk to the mall and grocery store, 6 minutes to the train station. Sylvia our host spoke English and Spanish, was very helpful and would answer any messages we sent her promptly. I would definitely stay there again.

The photos here belie the beauty of this Tuscan apartment. In short, it is a jewel. Not only is every corner of it finished with exquisite craftsmanship and dotted with beautiful antiques, it is outfitted with everything a traveler could ever want. What surprised me was how comfortably it accommodated a family with a small child. Some reviewers expressed concern over the entry stairs, for instance, but we found them perfectly safe and not an issue in the least; our toddler navigated them with aplomb. In addition, our host could not have welcomed us more warmly! The attention to detail offered here— from this beautiful and comfortably appointed ‘home away from home’ to the hosts’ gracious hospitality— makes this accommodation an 11 on the 1-to-10 scale.

Absolutely perfect little apartment, local to all the amenities and clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for anything more. Here during the strikes and the hosts helped me to find alternative accommodation for the extra two days I had to stay in Italy too. Will absolutely be returning later in the year.

I already miss the apartment. It felt like home, Sylvia made sure of it ! Everything was great. If you need to rest from loud places, want to have slow mornings with a coffee in a nice backyard, and basically want to experience living in an actual Tuscan castle - go for it, book this apartment and enjoy 🩷 It's really easy to get to Florence center - the train station is in 5 minutes from the apartment, the Coop is in 3 minutes, and there is a place to get a quick coffee, also several clothing stores. So overall - everything you need is around. And Sylvia is so helpful and nice, I'm really glad I met her. Thanks again!🌞

Walking the way of St Francis, good spot to stop on the path. Got a ride to the grocery store in town from the owner. Could have used another blanket.
