The host is very, very nice and helpful. The rooms were larger than a normal Japanese hotel room. The neighborhood is very pretty and has a great laid-back atmosphere.

Breakfast was wonderful. The first day the eggs were prepared sunny-side up. Subsequently, I knew to request them to my liking the night before. The hotel prepared a firmer mattress for me at my request. The room has a separate sitting room, a nice feature. Dinner is not haute cuisine, but well prepared, tasty, filling, and reasonably priced.
