Everything was meticulous—what was provided and what was expected in return. That is to say that everything (including outdoor furniture!) was perfectly clean and carefully presented. That same obsessiveness came out in extensively stated rules and expectations. This suited me fine because I’m not an inconsiderate pig, but apparently a few of those have stayed there. A woman cheerfully let me in early, even though I said I would be glad to circle back at the normal time.

Well, to start off the day prior I tried to contact the property with no luck then I also tried to reach the property for check-in early with no luck. We had to wait an hour to find someone to check us in as the phone number that was given to us was never answered. Once the check-in person came, she did not have a reservation and we ended up having to take a smaller yurt with no ventilation or openings to the sky. The year have a dirty bed. It was in the middle of a neighborhood, so there was light pollution and noise from the highway. We’re also just down the road from a state correctional facility, which doesn’t make for ideal safety when you’re sleeping out without a lock. The property was unkept and very disorganized. The price was very high and it did not feel like clglamping or camping. The river was so far away that you could not hear it from where we stayed.

Overall, a great stay! The house was cozy, well-equipped, and had a beautiful view to the mountains—just like in the photos. We loved the comfortable rooms, the spacious bathroom, and the living area, with very comfy armchairs.

    Great little inn! Room has a patio with a gate that opens up to a larger fenced in dog area! Dog owners dream! They even provided dog blankets, dark towels and waste bags. We even stayed an extra night and communication with managers was so easy. Great location close to everything

    Clean, comfortable (beds and pillows were great), renovated (old building that had clearly been renovated and maintained), very dog friendly, and remote checkin that was painless and very friendly and helpful staff that were easy to reach. I will stay here next time I am in the area.

    We enjoyed how we received our room code beforehand via text and we could let ourselves in! And even though we don't have a dog, we appreciate places that are dog-friendly! I also like how the owner of his hotel stood up for themselves against the OBVIOUS complaining-review someone else had left on Google. This hotel is GREAT. The location, the local bars/restaurants, the hot springs nearby, and if its warmer season they have so many fun activities to do nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

    Bed was excellent. Room was clean. An updated 1970’s style Motel with special attention to being pet friendly. Each room had dog blanket, private small enclosed dog run outside rear door and communal fully fenced large dog run accessed from each room. Views are magnificent as town is surrounded by mountains.

    A very nice place, conveniently located. Pet friendly. Automated reservation process with no need to see any staff. Clear information about keys pick up. Each room has a small back yards with table and chairs. A parking spot in front of each room.

    Doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as I stepped in the room it smelled clean, looked clean, felt clean. Hit rt away with a sense of cozy warmth. It's pet friendly and they had a basket full of doggie blankets! Cool touch. A pet peeve of mine is so many others have nice tvs and cable access but no guides or instructions on how to use them. Slackwater had a convenient binder with instructions on everything. (It is a contactless setup). Great location in Johnsons Corner just a couple of miles from BV central.
