The Village Creek Inn was the ideal location for my stay as it provided a quiet and scenic environment. I thoroughly enjoyed the views of the mountains from my room and the walking paths around the village and the pond. The room was very spacious, clean and rustic. The bed was quite comfortable. All the meals were very delicious and fresh to the taste, especially the seasonal fruit. I really enjoyed the Guilin noodle dishes!

The location is amazing , next to river and close to city and all , staff speak English and are caring !! And helpful , Jerry and Kate made us each day watermelon and provided us with water or umbrellas etc to what we might need . Place has a charm and you get to experience peace and calm between everything else lightly away from noise of main streets and get to see the culture and people and environment . Would really recommend it .

Location is good, close to north railway station and to tourist attractions. The lady owner was very helpful. There was a marathon on the day we checked out and roads were closed from 8 am to 10 am, so we couldn’t get a taxi. She brought us to the railway station herself so we would catch our train. We are very thankful to her.

Great communication from the very beginning until our arrival. The rooms are very nice, extremely clean and quiet. All the necessary amenities are there and the bed is comfortable. The location is amazing - right in the center of Xingping Old Town. We would definitely come again.

The scenery is wonderful, if you’re looking for a place with mountains this area will do, but quite far from the city center need to go by taxi all the time! Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! Tim and Ann
