The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

Here‘s equipment for customers is perfect, everywhere has the air conditioning, and everywhere clean as well. Cuz they really focus on cleaning. The apartment is spacious, but cozy. It's in a small street but close to bigger street with supermarkets etc, also close to Karnak temple. The host is very helpful, willing to organise transport to and from the apartment, and available for communication.

A bonus was that we were able to eat raw vegetables because they were washed with purified water. The outdoor dining area was also lovely. Whenever we needed a driver, Mahmoud and his son Mohamed arranged for us quickly. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is well located near the West Bank sites, and walking distance from one ruin. We would happily stay there again!

Great location on the calmer Westside. Great wifi (we both work online). Offers transportation from the Eastside for much cheaper than you can get elsewhere with all your luggage. More spacious than we expected with AC in the bedroom and very big bathroom. Host is very trustworthy and helpful which I do not expect in Egypt. Actually one of the few people you can really trust. Offered if we want to go anywhere in a tour etc he’d contact his people to get a price, but also told us no pressure at all, do your research or even book online or with someone else. Places in Cairo for example would 100% be pushy and scam you here. We did the hot air balloon ride through him and a Nile sunset ride. Both very fair priced, even at the competitive bottom from prices online. Not exactly sure how it compares to offers on the street, but probably very good too. Plus you go with people you can actually trust without getting scammed. Also did a valley of the kings plus some more westbank things with a driver and guide through the host. Nice driver, guide spoke great English, had great information (we overheard some “guides” in places basically pointing out “hey this is a rock”. You get the idea.) This one was worth every dollar. Would 100% book again if we come back to Luxor.
