Our stay was perfect, it was an overnight break away from our city life and I did not disappoint it was so peaceful. The cabin was great, it had everything we needed and it was really cosy. Location is beautiful and an ideal place to take yourself on a long walk come rain or shine. Check in and check out was really easy and hassle free. Everything about this B&B was superb. John and Clare were excellent hosts. My husband and I needed a quiet escape for my birthday, and they delivered! We're introverted and exhausted parents so the private entrance with coffee and tea was a wonderful touch. The porch was perfect for late night card games. Breakfast was divine! Delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely perfect. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I cannot say enough about this wonderful lodge. Its proximity to Hay-on-Wye allowed for wonderful bookstore browsing during the day. We are already excited to return!
