In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. The staff were exceptional, both the assistant manager and manager were very helpful in helping transfer luggage and a packed lunch. My requests were not quite the norm.

At night it gets completely dark, which made it possible to see so many stars and even constellations, such an amazing experience. The host was very welcoming and came up to show us where everything was and how to use the hot tub. He was kind enough to fix the hot tub for us as well, which we really appreciated. The accommodation itself is very new, with comfy beds, great heating, and excellent high water pressure. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We found it a good location to explore Wensleydale.

Pleasant little place. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Street leading to apartment iis very narrow as is typical of Yorkshire Dales so is not ideal for manoeuvring cars. Milk, coffee, tea and breakfast provisions were unexpectedly provided which was a nice touch.

Very welcoming owners who clearly take pride and care in their property plus were very happy for us to bring along a dog which is great! The added green out the front was just what we needed too!
