Almost everything was perfect, only minor drawbacks I will mention in "Cons" section. Room very spacious and comfortable. Generally everything was "just enough", very Swedish. For example food selection - not the greatest, but everything of very high quality. Room equipment - modest, but again, very high quality. Helpful and very kind staff.

The host Ulrika was really lovely, communication was very smooth and she answered her messages very quickly. We only stayed one night on the way between Stockholm and our next destination, but we really could have stayed another night! The room was super cosy, on a very nice farm. The bed was so comfortable! And we also really liked the very complete breakfast that was prepared for us. Overall a perfect first stop for our trip, and we would love to come back!

Situated on Östermalm, 1.9 km from Sergels torg square and Stockholm city centre, Ett Hem is a 5-star hotel with a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and sauna. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I would definitely come back. Everything was outstanding – the food, the variety of spaces to spend time in, the service, and the clientele. I can recommend it with complete confidence.

Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

Beautiful old but well-maintained villa with a nice backyard and sauna down by the river. Does not have luxuries like ensuite bathroom, elevator or soundproof time. But it's very picturesque and brings one back to mundane Sweden of mostly forgotten times.
