We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a characterful side room in the main house. Chateau Villandry is a 10minute drive. Not the season to use the pool, but we hope to on another occasion.

Although the description said one bed we discovered the the sofa was a sofa bed. Luckily we had a spare sheet and doona with us. Bathroom had 2 hand basins and very modern. I loved the sloping ceiling that had opening windows. Was a little warm when we arrived but the air conditioning took care of that. In the evening there was a refreshing breeze. Owner friendly and helpful. Kitchen well equipped for basic cooking. Included also a coffee machine with sachets as well as a kettle. Highly recommend. Was about three minutes from the centre of town by car. Parking space close to the door.

We were on the final leg of a long journey from our home in Spain to the UK for Christmas and we had chosen this hotel for its location and tranquil look. It was fantastic. James and Celine were the best hosts and the whole experience was just what we needed. We left the following morning refreshed for the remaining journey. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED
