This hotel was a truly exceptional experience. The staff is amazing and upgraded us when we shared it was our honeymoon. They were extremely helpful with anything we needed during our stay. The views of the surroundings are breathtaking. It is a very serene environment with plenty of space to walk around, sit and enjoy the atmosphere, and relax by the pool. The staff also hosted daily activities for their guests to maximize their time, with yoga (usually outdoors, but was moved inside because of rain), guided treks, and visits to nearby landmarks. I can't say enough about this place and hope we can make it back someday.

We picked The Garuda Villa and Restaurant as a stop on our journey because it was right in the middle of our route. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the complex turned out to be bigger than we expected from the photos. The garden is lovely, and the rooftop offers a beautiful view. The staff is incredibly friendly, which made our stay even better. There’s also a small but nice pool—perfect for cooling off on hot days. Plus, the WiFi is excellent! In the evening, we ate at the restaurant, which had a huge selection of dishes and tasted absolutely delicious. A great place to take a break and relax. Would stay again!

- My room (king room with balcony) was very comfortable and modern. It was an absolutely lovely wooden cabin. The views of the jungle and mountains from our balcony and the restaurant is something out of this world. Truly breathtaking, especially when you see it first thing in the morning. - All the meals at the restaurant were delicious and well-served. - The staff goes out of their way to pamper you. They saw us get in the pool and immediately brought out two towels without us even asking. - The hotel is very clean and well-maintained.

Best holiday at Pondoks place we really loved the very special Balinese hotel, with views to the rice fields and own temple. The pictures even don’t show how beautiful the place is, every room has views to the rice fields and the swimming pool area is perfect. Also the rooftop restaurants are stunning 🤩 with the views. Also the owner is such a lovely man, he also went with us to see local attractions and we had nice conversations with him. Thank you for the great stay and we will come back for sure!

The villas were beautiful, very spacious and clean. Giriwood has a lot of amenities like the swimming pool, ping pong & billiard table, and a TV with Netflix account in each room. The snacks and water bottles in our room were replenished daily, which we found a really nice gesture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we basically only ate in the restaurant of Giriwood.

The place is very quiet, we were in 5 hotels, resorts and villas in Bali, this was the best place to stay. Away from the noisy Bali, you will be staying in your own villa with a magnificent view to the nature. The swimming pool is warmed from 8 to 8 pm. You can play billiard, table tennis. The TVs are with Netflix included from the owner. I loved this place. Sadly we have only stayed for one night. The restaurant was the best. The breakfast was very good.

The gardens were beautifully designed and very well kept with plants and fish ponds. The room 4 on the top floor had a wonderful view of the mountain out the window and was quiet. The swimming pool was small but had a lovely view overlooking the valley.

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and responsive. Good breakfasts. The hotel is within driving distance of all the beautiful waterfalls in northern Bali (Sekumpul, Banyumala, Aling-Aling). The pool is heated, and you can swim in it even during cool evenings while enjoying the view of the hills and the jungle illuminated by the setting sun.
