Very friendly welcome, lovely old house, It was very private no one bothered us which we liked. Very handy to all the lovely villages. Restaurants were a way away.

The stay at Castello di Modanella has been our last stop in our trip to Tuscany, and an absolute highlight! It was my dream to stay in the castle, and it was perfect. Starting with the hospitality of a receptionist (unfortunately cannot remember the name), he was very kind and attentive, and even showed us a part of a castle that is currently closed. When we asked for the recommendation for a wine tasting near by, he explained that because of the harvesting season all wineries are busy and are not doing tastings at the moment. But then he was so kind to gift us with 2 bottles of the wine made from the grapes growing around the castle. We highly appreciate this extra special gesture that made our stay even more memorable!

This property was a classic! Beautifully dated facilities and a stunning view of Tuscany from the gardens. If your preference is modern designs, keep looking.

Gorgeous views; very nice staff

The Villa is a charming, beautifully restored Brick Factory with wonderful grounds and a great pool. Our host Benedetta was warm & welcoming. There are 4 ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds & great linens. Lots of living space and outside areas to enjoy. It was such a comfortable, fun place to stay. We came back early several days just to enjoy being there. Watching the sun set while sitting in the Olive tree grove - priceless. The road into the Villa is a little tricky to find and is a tight turn on a corner, but so doable & well worth it! Good location to explore some of the best Villages in Tuscany. I would happily stay there again.

This beautiful Tuscan villa is a true gem, surrounded by breathtaking classic Tuscan scenery. It is incredibly charming, peaceful, and cozy, with tasteful furnishings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the beautifully set breakfast table made us feel instantly at home. Every detail had been thoughtfully prepared, inviting us to sit down and enjoy the morning. The breakfast itself was exceptional—one of the best we have ever had. The care and attention to every little detail were truly remarkable. The highlight of this unique place is the gorgeous swimming pool, surrounded by lush flowers and gardens. The iconic Tuscan cypress-lined driveway leading to the villa makes the arrival feel magical. Words cannot express how delighted we were with our stay. It was by far the best overnight stop during our week-long journey through Italy. A special thank you to the gracious and attentive host, and to the sweet little cat who warmly welcomed every guest.
