The gorgeous small riad is located on the mountain slope with a beautiful view of the village below and the High Atlas mountains. Mohammad is a wonderful host: he is very communicative and goes out of his way to take care of his guests. The breakfast served is one of the better ones we had in Morocco, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner on two nights at Jnane Karma. I definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Imlil.

Located in Imlil, Toubkal Ecolodge features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The riad has ski-to-door access and ski storage space, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

Our host, Ibrahim, was so friendly and accommodating! Meals were delicious and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is a bit of a walk from the Imlil center, but it was well worth it for the views and the tranquility. We loved it so much that we opted to stay an additional night!

The room was cozy and warm - we stayed at the beginning of March! We could change the room temperature easily (in other apartments we had booked usually it was quite cold even with a heater). Water was also hot. The breakfast was tasty and fulfilling. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us pancakes and water for our hike in mountains. Highly recommend if you want to stay in Imlil.

The Riad is located on the outskirts of Imlil village near the river and looks up to the Kasbah and Toubkal and is about a 10-minute walk from the Kasbah.

The location is exceptional. surronded by mountains, flowing rivers, greenery and lots and lots of birds. We got royal treatment from Lahoucine Aziam. He makes an excellent “Berrad” of berber mint tea that is sure to delight any one. You get a nice reception with tea and sweets in the outdoor sitting area. Truly enchanting. we fell in love right then and there. Then the team took our luggage up flights of stairs to the Imlil room. Beautiful biews on the very cold pool below, river and mountains. You take a shower looking at snow on the Toubkal! The hotel has multiple sitting areas nestled everywhere, furnished with moroccan coaches and berber rugs. The food is great too. Lahoucine Boudchich, the kitchen guy, served us a phenomenal breakfast. These guys are all local Berber folk. Very nice and welcoming people and both the place and food are authentic. We slept like logs as the air is pure and the river sound is literally hypnotic. The village and overall region has so much potential as well. We climbed to the falls and you can enjoy the tajine by the falls. The village folks are also so nice. You can buy fresh grass fed meat from the local butcher a minute from the hotel and get it charcoal grilled for literally a few Dollars and feast. We’re definitely coming back for a much longer stay.

We stayed in three Moroccan resorts with extensive gardens and a pool. All three were lovely but our two-day stay at Bin Jbal was exceptionally nice with its pond and fountains and the mix of decorative plants, herbs and vegetables in its manicured gardens. Our standalone bungalow was spacious and comfortable and our private rooftop gave us views of the resort’s wonderful surroundings. Meals were caringly served in this welcoming setting. The real treat of Ben Jbal was having Ayoub look after us at the resort and beyond. For example, our plan was to hike the scenic Ouirgane Valley in the morning before moving on to Essaouira. He suggested instead of our driver picking up our luggage and meeting us at the end our hike that we instead return and shower before our drive. We learned Ayoub was once a trail guide so he was anticipating our needs as hikers. The resort’s accommodation met our every expectation but having Ayoub as our host is what makes our stay at Ben Jbal a lasting memory.

I think Auberge Le Mouflon will end up being my favorite place to stay in Morocco over two months of travel. It is a very special place. This rustic and charming guesthouse is run by a truly wonderful family in the peaceful village of Ouirgane. It is very well maintained and very clean. Beds, blankets, and pillows are comfortable. The lovely family took such good care of my husband and I. They are extremely caring and attentive and really want you to feel comfortable in their home. The sweet daughters speak English which was very helpful and I used a little French with Rachida and her husband. Breakfasts/dinners are enjoyed in the pretty garden (they even have espresso or Nespresso coffee which we very much appreciated!). It is also pleasant to sit in the front and watch village life pass by over tea. Rachida's cooking is amazing and not to be missed!! Ouirgane is great because it is much less touristy and quieter. We really enjoyed trekking with the local guide, Akmed, who speaks English and French (the family can connect you with him for trekking, highly recommended). You get to see other small villages nearby and can even hike higher to Tikhfist and have an excellent lunch there in a local home. I highly recommend a stay at this guesthouse and experience the true warmth and hospitality of a Berber family. Many thanks to the family for making our four days so special. Hope to return!

The place was exceptionally clean with lovely rooms. The breakfast was delicious and served on the outside deck overlooking the reservoir.Dinner was delicious and served in the cozy dining room with a fire going. The family feeling was very clear and wonderful. friendly yet also very professional. and the best coffee we have had in Morocco!

We loved the sounds of the animals on the property, all the beautiful spots to sit and relax, the pool area, the incredible sunsets and view of the stars at night. It is a remote location and was perfect for us after a busy 10 days touring the country. The staff were so friendly and attentive and we wanted to stay longer than our three nights. Mohamed, the manager, was truly delightful. we felt so welcomed and we hope to return one day.
