Hotels with Pools in Kiwengwa

Everything was great. The Duty Manager, Amir Aicha, & his his staff were exceptional. Amir was friendly & very accommodating. I would give him a 12 out of 10 - yes 12. The breakfast was good but a notch or 2 below Tembo Hotel in Stone Town. There could be improvements in more choices on menu & refills. Would recommend this place anytime.

Everything was great, staff, food, rooms, and service

The property was well maintained, nice and clean room, perfect view, friendly staff. Nice food. The hotel is good for any one who likes a calm and relaxing environment.

Service was immaculate, rooms were clean and property is fully refurbished. The food was very good as well, nothing to complain about!

I loved everything about the resort They had a snorkeling activity and the instructor sulieman was awesome 🤩 Would definitely recommend ❤️❤️❤️

The room next to the pool was spacious and clean with anti-mosquito curtains and a mini-fridge. The food is delicious. It felt like a home cooked meal. The Italian cuisine by the Italian chef is sublime. The resort vibes were so homie and friendly. All the staff were so welcomig.

Kiwengwa Beach Resort in Zanzibar exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The stunning location provided a opportunity for a relaxing stay. The culinary experience was a highlight, with a diverse menu featuring delicious and well-prepared dishes. What truly set this resort apart was the outstanding service, notably from the manager, Victor. His professionalism and attentiveness added a personalized touch to our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering valuable recommendations and addressing any concerns promptly. The resort itself boasted well-maintained facilities, and the beachfront was amazingly beautiful. In summary, Kiwengwa Beach Resort is a gem in Zanzibar. Whether you're seeking a tranquil retreat or a relaxing escape, this resort delivers a perfect blend of comfort, culinary delights, and exceptional service. Our time here was wonderful, thanks to the dedicated staff and the charming ambiance of the resort.

Imara resort is a very special place, if you need to recharge feel very special and need to be taking care as a friend not as a client you’re in the right spot. The beach is all yours, the seafood buffet was the only thing we ate everyday and we didn’t even get enough of it . Erika becomes more family than a host, we really felt so happy and taken cared of during our stay, every little detail.. Recommand the boat trip. We’re definitely coming back ❤️❤️ Thank u imara for everything Sarah and Hala.

After a few days in noisy Kendwa, I really wanted some privacy and relaxation. I’ve stayed at many hotels across the island but this one left the absolute best impression. I arrived for check-in a couple of hours early. I was warmly welcomed at the reception and offered to check in right away without any waiting. Most likely, all the rooms, including mine, were occupied since I arrived ahead of time. And they gave me an upgrade — it was the best room in the entire complex, with a private pool and a breathtaking ocean view! The room was spotless, spacious, and incredible attention was paid to every single detail, style, and comfort. I loved it so much that I extended my stay for another night. They truly care about their guests here! The service at the reception and from the entire staff was highly professional. All of this made my vacation unforgettable. I hope to visit this place again soon but next time with my friends!

Poa Poa is a truly magical place! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and relaxed. Our stay was wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The staff's warmth and hospitality were exceptional. They went above and beyond to assist us with some travel issues (unrelated to the hotel), and we are incredibly grateful for their help. The food was also a highlight – every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience, and a special shout-out to Wiktoria and the other gentleman (whose name I unfortunately don't recall) for their outstanding service and dedication.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was so restful and beautiful. The staff were really attentive and so friendly. The lady who made up our room every day did a particularly great job with decorating our room with flowers every single day. I would not hesitate to come back

Our stay at White Dream was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Gloria welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at home. Gloria truly made a difference in our stay—kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel had just been renovated, so everything—from the room to the common areas—was immaculately clean and fresh. Our beachfront room allowed us to step directly onto the sand, which was an amazing experience. The food was also a huge highlight—the pizza was hands down one of the best I have ever had (yes, even compared to Italy), and the tuna steak was perfectly fresh and delicious. The staff were consistently cheerful and friendly, especially Emanuel at the bar. The pool was clean and great to jump into during tide hours, and the beach area was calm, with minimal interruption from beach vendors. It was the perfect peaceful escape we were looking for.

The room was very beautiful and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable. I would recommend people to stay at The Dream Village hotel☺️ 😊

My stay was honestly amazing! Everything was so nice and comfortable. Viku OMG 😭❤️ she is honestly the best! She was so kind, helpful and welcoming. The staff were also amazing. Their response to everything was so quick and impressive, and they were always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Their customer service was incredible. I genuinely had such a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend this place. 10/10 experience! ❤️

We were very well received. All information was provided in a clear and simple way. The hotel organized airport transfer for us and support on planning day activities. Breakfast was great and staff were always friendly and helpful. Room size was fantastic! They also were kind enough to add an extra bed changing the living room into an individual extra room. 10 out of 10.

We had an amazing stay at Solaya Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and great value for money. The property is very close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful coastline. Our room was cozy, well-maintained, and had excellent lighting that created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you to Isaac, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, assisted us whenever needed, and helped us navigate around Zanzibar with ease. Janet from housekeeping was exceptional. She always made sure we had delicious meals on time, took care of our laundry, and was consistently kind, professional, and attentive. We also appreciated Maria, who regularly checked in with us and maintained excellent communication to ensure everything was going well during our stay. The hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care from the team made our experience truly memorable. We look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel has a fantastic location—right on the beach and centrally placed on the island. The design is stunning, and the facilities are great, with options like padel, pickleball, table tennis, and a pool. The buffet offers plenty of variety (though it’s mostly Italian with some local dishes), and overall, the food is really good (however, the one night we had a food rush (guest after guest waitingin line for pasta), and the chef in a panic just started dishing out undercooked pasta).

I enjoyed the place and the friendliness of the host and the personnes. Great breakfast, always very nice and a big smile to start the day. The host is dedicated and makes sure we always get what we need. Beautiful place, close to the beach and to some shops and facilities. I will surely go back to this place

My girlfriends and I had an absolutely lovely stay at Baridi Villa. The staff was super kind, friendly and professional . They were extremely helpful in all matters and questions we had about the area and amenities and the service was highly accommodating. For e.g. they connected us to a hair stylist, money exchange service, food delivery, taxi pick up etc. , all delivered straight to the accommodation. We felt super safe, embraced and respected as women of colour, which is not always the case while travelling, so this was an important aspect to us. We really enjoyed being in a safe space of a mostly women run accommodation. We were positively surprised at the easy access to the beach. Through the back door of the accommodation, there is an alley that brings you directly to the beach within 2 walking minutes. The area was truly the best of both worlds: The beach side abit touristy, but not too much, with a range of restaurant options. As well as slow paced living in the local village on the other side, where you can find fresh fruit, lovely homey food at local prices and some local clothing shops, hair salon etc. We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool area and relaxing days on the outdoor bed swings. We would definitely book here again and warmly recommend this stay. Be sure to be respectful of the locals and definitely leave a big tip for the staff, as it seems that many people stay far away from their families to work on the island.

100 % recommend. It was a place to relax, felt safe, calm, Very clean. Basically no mosquitos. Very nice food including breakfast. Very nice staff, especially Roberta. Not a lot of rooms, so cozy, everyone has their own little terrase. Pool is also great and clean. The owner has two funny dogs that keep you smile :D
