The location is good. The sausage biscuits in the morning are good along with the hot coffee. The restaurant there is very good. We really enjoyed our dinner there on the first night! These two things are the ONLY reason for the 3. If not for them it would be a solid 1. The porch has a swing and rocking chairs if you would like to sit out and watch traffic go by. We were there in the heat so did not take advantage of those. The pool was nice and has a few different seating options. We were going out to sit by the pool when a storm came up and we did not get to even get in the water. Nothing the resort could control. It is a nice place however we will never stay there again and will definitely advise anyone who may be wanting to book there to find another place to stay. You will see the reason below.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hospitality from the staff was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is also excellent—close to the river, which made it convenient and enjoyable to explore the area. Overall, a great place to stay.

    We did tell mgmt before we left. Carpet was Very dirty. Wen I walked to bathroom to take shower my feet were very dirty with mud in shower My husband was going to swim in ougdoor pool but there was Algiers In water Later he saw children and a dog in the pool. He hopes they will be ok. The continental breakfast was very clean. The air in the room was hard to regulate It seemed very humid. He would not get in water.

    Everything was super clean. The breakfast was great. We used the swimming pool and outdoor hot tub and they were all clean and well kept. The room was immaculate. The hallways are well kept and clean. A wonderful experience.

    The owners were very nice and the motel is dog friendly with a fridge for leftovers and drinks. It's conveniently close to downtown Bryson City and there is a nice view across the street looking out across town and the mountains. It's an old building that could have some quaint charm, and there is a pool (although we did not swim).

    Beautiful setting! Comfortable room. Enjoyed sitting by the river at night and swimming in the pool. The location was perfect between Cherokee and Bryson City. Lots of things to do. We saw elk daily, they even crossed the river behind the motel. The family owners were friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again.

    The swimming pool was very clean and deep for diving. We loved that. The view was decent considering it’s behind an abandoned property. Staff was helpful. I’m glad managed allowed me to cut my stay short.

    Highly recommend this adorable vacation lodge! The rooms were very clean and all covid restrictions were in place. The owners are amazing and very accommodating. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and hot water were always available. Outside there was a large firepit down by a lovely river! Plenty of seats and tables are available. Also, they have grills for guests to use. We loved the landscape and all the beautiful trees! They also have a very nice swimming pool. A great place to stay!!
