After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. We had an outstanding stay at Manoir Les Feuillantines Piscine & Spa. This beautifully renovated old house retains its original features, adding to its charm. Every detail in this place is tastefully decorated, and it is evident that a great deal of care and attention has been devoted to creating a delightful atmosphere. The entire place is brand new, very clean, and incredibly inviting. The owner, Benjamin, is not only friendly but also an interesting person. His warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. Located just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer and other popular tourist attractions, the location of this manor is ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this area. So nice to the have free use of the indoor pool and hot tub. Her daughter runs a very fine restaurant on the property, and eating there was a bonus. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The place was very quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were super friendly and prepared a hearty breakfast!

The property has been beautifully restored by the owners who are charming and very friendly and hospitable. Our room was large with all you could want including a well stocked hospitality tray. The continental breakfast had everything you’d expect as well as ham, cheese and a home made smoothie. The breads and croissants were very fresh and tasty. The bed was comfortable and we had a quiet and undisturbed night. The location is great. It’s next to the basilica and a short walk to a number of restaurants. We chose to use the secure car park, for a small fee, and it was just a short walk too.

Set in park land in Doudeauville, Domaine de la Course is a historic building dating from 1781 built by an officer of King Louis XVI and once belonging to the Givenchy family and the Chirac family. Staying in a mansion from 1781 was a true delight. The premises are beautiful, the room was large and pampering with big windows overlooking the garden, tasty breakfast, nice owner.
