Centrally located in Poiana Brasov, 10 minutes on foot from the ski slopes, Alpin Resort Hotel offers accommodation with complimentary access to a semi-Olympic pool. We stayed in the apartments section of the hotel. The apartment itself was huge, with two bedrooms - each with its own bathroom - and a very spacious living room. Once we figured out how to adjust the radiators the atmosphere inside became wonderfully comfortable, especially with the towel warmer as an added bonus. Breakfast was excellent, offering a large selection of food and running conveniently from 7:30 to 10:30. We also booked treatments at the hotel’s spa, which we enjoyed very much and found to be fairly priced, with the only real downside being the lack of snow, though of course that’s not something the hotel can control.

We also enjoyed the wellness facilities — the spa, indoor pool, and sauna were the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring the area. Whether you’re visiting for skiing, hiking, or simply to unwind, Swissôtel Poiana Brașov is the ideal destination. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next visit!
