Breakfast was delicious, rooms really nice and John and the entire staff were very special! They were so kind, helpful and very dedicated to host us in the best way, and they did it! Definitely one of the highlights from our trip that will last in our memories.

Breakfast was great as was the location and facilities although I did not get to experience much. Checked in, in the afternoon and left for a function at 18h00. Back at midnight and out before 10h00. Rates are on the less affordable side for the standard South African, although I do understand this is peak season.

The Franschhoek Hermitage is a secure complex with views over the valley. Our apartment was luxurious, spacious and well appointed. Esme and her team went above and beyond to provide little extras - they are a fabulous team. This is part of the W Collection with properties in Hermanus (The Hermanus Esplanade) and in Cape Town (Mountain Marina Resorts). We stayed at all three and they are professionally run, luxury resorts well above the standard that you will find with many holiday properties. Do book any or all three. You will not be disappointed!!!!
