Located at the Paul Kruger Gate to the Kruger National Park, Kruger Gate Hotel is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Loved our stay here, located right next to the gate. A very warm and helpful staff, the rooms are clean and spacious and super clean. You will see a few monkeys and small wild life on the property which is pretty cool. Loved their night buffet with so many delicious options and a very nice and fun environment with music and activities. Strongly recommend.

This was a peaceful and secure place to stopover as we didn't want to drive all the way back to Joburg before our departing flight. Huge room, huge and lovely bathroom with shower and giant clawfoot tub, large and well maintained yard. We are birders and enjoyed seeing all of the birds coming and going from the birdbaths and mature trees in the backyard. There were even some Hadada Ibis nesting in one of the trees.

Its a pity it rained a lot when I was there and so did not experience the garden the way I would have wanted. Provided the place the available next time, I'm definitely making a booking there. I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.
