- From $183.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,878 reviewsWe booked last minute and were given an upgrade at check in. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The view was amazing! We had dinner at the restaurant and were given a complimentary appetizer and glass of wine. The food was very high quality and fresh. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Sadly, we only got to stay one night. If we ever are able to return to Slovenia we will certainly stay at Belvedere Resort again. I highly recommend this place for lodging and food. The staff is excellent and friendly.Guest review byElaineUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 709 reviewsCertainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.Guest review bySven Boris SchreiberGermany
- From $108.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 6,627 reviewsChildren loved the pool area and the accessibility to the beach, the room was spacious and clean, the staff was extremely polite, the room and the terrace had a great sea view without any additional charges, the hotel is right on the beach. The food was delicious and the offer for different types of food was great, the hotel has own parking. It does not have airconditioning in the room but this did not bother a bit! We will come back next year! Every recommendation!Guest review byMiricAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,480 reviewsThird time staying, the staff and overall feel never disappoint. I'd like to that Laura (host/receptionist) for being positively sneaky by booking us a room right next to our family that was also staying in the hotel (we did not make any plans beforehand).Guest review byAndrejCroatia

It is a beautiful little town, well worth visiting, lots of history, stunning scenery and a lovely vibe. If you just want to meander about, you can fill a couple of days, if you want to make use of the beaches and go further afield you could make it a longer stay. At times it does get very busy, and restaurant bookings are recommended. Ask your hotel, ours couldn't have done more to help.Guest review byJoUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It’s an amazing city.
It’s an amazing city. The city walls are amazing and the fort as well. Make sure to do the walk on the walls and if you are a Games of Thrones fan, Dubrovnik is a must as many scenes shot here. Simply loved it. Also good place to do day trips to Bosnia and Montenegro . Make sure to buy the Dubrovnik pass online - go for the 3 days pass for euro 50 ( one day pass is euro 40). Save the QR code and it gets you in to many many places including the wall walk and the fort. Just the wall walk ‘a ticket is euro 40Guest review byRobert_RajMalaysia - 8.0
I stayed in Zadar Old Town and enjoyed every minute.
I stayed in Zadar Old Town and enjoyed every minute. Lots of cultural attractions and the possibility for boat trips. Highly important for me as well, that as a lone female non-white traveller I always felt safe and comfortable walking around by myself even in the early hours of the morning.Guest review byKellyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.Guest review byshenajKosovo - 10.0
The people were all friendly, lots of bars and restaurants.
The people were all friendly, lots of bars and restaurants. Try to take plenty local currency, or Euros. Lots of places are cash only and the banks fees are up to 20%. The old town is lovely. The promenade is made for walking. Miles long.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people.
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people. We really, really enjoyed it! The restaurants were great, and there was so much to see and learn. I would recommend a minimum stay of 7 days to fully experience everything the city and surrounding area have to offer.Guest review byChesronNetherlands - 10.0
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches.
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0
The city is easily accessible and quite clean.
The city is easily accessible and quite clean. During peak season (July, August) there is traffic but it is manageable. I find majority of the city is walkable. Many restaurants, shops, coffee shops and local markets for groceries available. Beaches have both public and private beaches close to each other. For public beach it is just sand so bring your own umbrella and blanket. Private beaches have chairs and umbrella for €15-25 depending on time of year and beach. Note, beach showers and bathrooms are not the best or they may not exist so need to pre plan a little. Food is good, pizza, seafood, pasta and local cuisine. English is spoken in majority of the shops. The old city is accessible and worth a visit, both at night and day.Guest review byGasi - 10.0

Rovinj is a wonderful town with beautiful, Italian style buildings and streets. It’s a fantastic feeling to walk around its streets early in the norning, when there few tourists out there. Mulini beach is a great place to enjoy the sea.Guest review byTiborHungary - 8.0

The old town is busy and buzzing but with big groups of tourists wandering around. There was a lot of music with a romantic atmosphere. Local supermarkets were packed & stressful to visit. The cable car has stunning views but at quite a price! The cable car shuttle bus is expensive - may be worth getting a taxi. We got stranded at the top when rain stopped the cable car running. Then the return bus was delayed & the taxi drivers tried telling us the bus had broken down! Lots of waiting around it took the whole day in the end.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom
