The archetype of the Argentinean 20's 50's middle class, Rosario has many samples of elegant architecture. Walk it up and down, from the river to the boulevards, keeping your eyes up to see beautiful old buildings. Or if you prefer to saunter or jog along the Paraná River, you have miles to go admiring the occasional red flowered ceibos, blue flowered jacarandás, the Palo Borrachos, and the brown, persistent river. There are plenty of restaurants catering to European tastes. Cafés in every corner. Getting around is easy, mostly on foot, but also by taxi, bus.
