Very comfortable property in a non-touristy location at the bottom of Grossglockner Ski Resort - ski bus at the door, lots of winter/summer sports options, friendly community. A well-stocked little supermarket is only a short stroll away and the bakery delivers fresh bread to the apartment each morning according to your order. Georg is a fabulous host; enthusiastically sharing his love and knowledge of the area, and offering us his help when we needed it. We feel like we’ve made a new friend and we look forward to returning to Kals soon!

Beautiful chalet guest house. I had an apartment for myself which could have accommodated 2 or more people. It had a fully equipped kitchen for self catering which saved money on meals. Very comfortable, very clean and quiet. The place is half an hour's walk from Heiligenblut up a steep hill, but it is right next to the bus stops on the main road so convenient for them. No noise from the road overnight as the Grossglockner Road is closed to traffic overnight. Pleasant balcony to sit out on and dry clothes too.

Hotel was very good and great value for money. The views are spectacular from every room and the location is a few hundred metres from the top of the Grossglockner mountain road. Food was very good and they had a good system for beer and wine, help yourself and an electronic payment tag that went on to your room bill. Breakfast was very good with omlette or pancakes as a bonus to the usual continental style breakfast

Usually, I stay at bigger Hotels, but we rediscovered, how great it is to stay in a family-run hotel. We appreciated the host, location, fantastic view, sauna, cleanliness, and restaurant for dinners. The bus stop to Heliigenblut/Grossglockner ski area was actually in front of the ski depot room. Wifi worked excellently in my room. If we come back to the region, we come back to this accommodation!

We chose this hotel for 2 nights on a motorcycle tour because of its location at the foot of the Grossglockner Pass and a pass to ride this toll road was included in the room price. Off street parking with no charge. We had breakfast and dinner and both were good, the trout was very fresh, straight out of the tank! Attractive rooms with balconies.

Very clean functional and accommodating hotel located on the road to the GrossGlockner pass. Easy access and restaurant located on the premises. Bar located next door and alternative restaurants located close by. Small town ,close to hiking. Parking was on site and staff was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast included. Great value.

We stayed at this hotel as our last destination before hitting the Großglockner road. The place is rather new, or recently renovated. Eitherway, it feels new and it's clean. Staff is friendly.The pools are big and very nice. Allthough the hotel was fully booked, it didn't feel like a crowded place, so that is a good thing!

The hotel / apartment exceeded our expectations. The layout of the apartment was just perfect, interior combined classic and modern touches, staff was extra friendly and enthusiastic, breakfast was good. Good parking and excellent location near Grossglockner alpine road. Plenty of restaurants nearby, excellent view.

Karin is a wonderful host and we enjoyed meeting her. We really enjoyed our stay near the beautiful Grossglockner mountain. The apartment is very cosy furnished. Books and decoration really give you the feeling you are in at home instead of a apartment. In addition, the view on the Grossglockner makes you want to stay!

Apartment is really amazing. There is everything you need: coffeemaker, balcony with amazing view to Großglockner,there is a washing machine and dryer downstairs (you have to take a key and buy a coin). Supermarket and guesthouses are 2 min away. I really recommend this apartment!We will definitely come back!

Everything was great. We arrived late at night and very tired so couldn't find the exact hotel location. But the owner came down and guide us to the hotel. It was an ideal location for skiing and a minute away to Grossglockner Alpine road. Breakfast was exceptional. We would highly recommend the place.

Perfect location to access the Grossglockner which enabled us to spend most of the day there. We requested a large room and we got one. Lovely hotel and everything spotlessly clean, and a good breakfast. Despite not offering evening meals, the Hotel Poste next door had excellent food.

Fantastic locality and magnificent view on Grossglockner and surrounding mountains from the room windows. Also charmy housekeeper working in the seccond house nerbay. We also enjoyed a beautiful rest in this apartment with fireplace and smelly wood fire in it.

Great location, lots of storage space and various tables, huge number of appliances and small stuff someone sometimes might need (even things like impregnation spray for boots etc.). Helpful owner on the phone. Great balcony with the view of the Grossglockner.

The hotel is dated but it has fabulous views of the Großglockner from the front rooms and restaurant. Great breakfast just what we needed to get over the big alpine pass. A very helpful host with places to park our bikes, store our luggage. Huge room!

An authentic Austrian hotel. The staff is wearing traditional outfits, the dining room and lobby are carved out of wood. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel location is perfect basecamp for visiting the Grossglockner mountain pass and reservation.

Great location to go for a hike on Grossglockner. We did the Innergeschlöss glacier path, highly recommend! Very friendly and helpfull staff. Amazing breakfast on the other side of the street in a fancy hotel.

View to Grossglockner and the valley from the patio is amazing. Apartment is just off the Grossglockner high alpine road, but very quiet. Apartment was specious and had a nice vibe

Great location right under the High Alpine Road at Grossglockner. Facilities met our expectations and the pool and sauna were a nice plus. Breakfast was a classic buffet.

Incredible views and a perfect spot to stay before taking on the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Helpful staff and good breakfast.
