I made only a short, overnight stay at the hotel, but it was pleasant. The hotel is a small, family-run operation, so that one couldn't expect all the smoothness of a large establishment. I appreciated the effort of the owner to deal with the fact of my originally-scheduled late arrival and early-morning departure. With some mutual adjustments, everything turned out well.

    The hotel is well designed the stuff were the best we've encountered in all of Austria, very professional with a vast knowledge of wines especially Stefani! An impressive young woman who run the hotel better then many others twice her age who has a lot to learn from her. The food was lovely, breakfast and dinner included! Plenty of diversity in the breakfast buffet. They were very patient with our requests and equestrians about the area and about their wines. The Finnish sauna and the swimming pool were a great addition to an already wonderful stay!

    This is a beautiful and historic property with modern hospitality facilities. A very nice breakfast buffet with made to order egg choices. The rooms are large and comfortable. it is located in a notable village central to the most important wine growing region in Austria. The area is stunning and the wine is out of this world. There are many fabulous venues to enjoy wine and fantastic food all over the area.

    Gunter and Johanna are excellent hosts and we were well received and always felt welcome. We came to the Red bull Ring for the F1 event and although a bit far from the track, the facilities around Deutschlandsberg and our stay in Wildbachberg 176 was excellent.
